Pursuant to the relevant legal regulations, labour wages impose significant costs on the enterprises in Hungary. Of course, there is no enterprise without workers, but in some cases temporary agency work may be a quick and cost-effective solution.

Temporary agency work is a form of employment where the potential employee is selected by our company, on the basis of the Customer’s requests.
The employee has an employment relationship with the temporary work agency – in the given case JOB Ltd. -, which provides also for the administrative functions related to employment.
Work takes place at the hiring firm having recourse to temporary agency work. Working time, the tasks to be performed during work, the lunch break and the rest periods are defined by the employer.

Temporary agency work is one of the most dynamically developing sectors. It helps even large companies respond to economic changes flexibly, without a significant increase in their expenses.

The temporary agency work process:

Temporary agency work is a multi-step process that allows to assign the optimum supply to the labour demand ever.

1. The employer provides detailed information on the vacancy to be filled.
2. The temporary work agency announces the vacancy or hires the employee selected by the customer employer.
3. JOB Ltd. selects the employee from its continuously updated database of almost 100 000 persons and from other on-line databases. In addition, in function of the contractual terms and conditions, it has recourse to press or internet-based advertising and direct search, and upon request it makes personality and skills and competency tests.
4. After the selection of the potential employee, it carries out personal interviews, and forwards the appropriate candidate(s) to the employer.
5. The temporary agency work (JOB Ltd.) hires the selected employee and accomplishes the necessary administrative tasks. It concludes a work contract and reports it according to the relevant social security and Tax Authority formulae.
6. It does the payroll accounting of the temporary agency worker and transfers his/her wages and the related benefits; it provides for the fringe benefits; it keeps records of any leave periods.
7. Upon request, it sends the employer a detailed expense account.
8. If necessary, it organises replacements, gives advice on problematic situations and in connection with labour law issues.
9. The rights and obligations of the temporary work agency and the employer, respectively, shall always be specified by contract.


Essential criteria to be taken into account when selecting the temporary work agency:

Temporary agency work is an activity regulated by the law and it is subject to authorisation. Check the licenses of the temporary work agency by all means prior to hiring-out.

With temporary agency work, you cannot trim your costs directly.
The temporary agency work fee is usually higher than what would be implied by hiring your own employee. If the price quote is lower than your own employment costs would be, think that over: it is possible that undeclared work is involved.
